To begin with North India, a fresh Western Disturbance lies over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced cyclonic circulation is seen over West Rajasthan. Therefore, we expect scattered light to moderate rain and snow to commence over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Rain and thundershowers with isolated hailstorm may also occur over parts of Punjab, Haryana and Northwest Rajasthan. Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh will receive light rain.
Moving to East/Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Assam. But due to lack of moisture all the northeastern states will witness dry weather. Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal will also remain dry. However, minimums may rise marginally in parts of Jharkhand and Odisha.
In central India, a wind discontinuity is expected to develop over Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. This will lead to scattered rains over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and parts of Vidarbha. Isolated rains may occur over North Madhya Pradesh and Southeast Rajasthan.

Lastly in South India, the wind discontinuity is extending up to South Interior Karnataka. But still the weather will remain dry over south peninsula. Due to humid winds, minimums may increase in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
