Starting with North India, here a Western Disturbance lies over northern parts of Pakistan. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation lies over east-central parts of Pakistan. Both these systems are likely to move east northeastwards. Due to presence of these systems, light to moderate rains are likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. One or two higher reaches might also receive some snowfall. On the other hand, weather will remain dry over Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh along with a partly cloudy sky. Pollution in Delhi might worsen further and fall in severe category over a few parts.
Coming on to Central India, due to the prevalence of dry northwesterly winds Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha are likely to remain dry. Morning will be cool. Day will be comfortable and warm with a cloudy sky. Meanwhile, Mumbai will also remain dry and warm.
Talking about East India, where mainly dry weather is forecast for Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. Days will be comfortable and a little warm. Night will be cool. Shallow fog might prevail in morning hours. Also, a Cyclonic Circulation lies over eastern parts of Bangladesh and adjoining parts of South Assam. Due to this system, isolated places over Northeast India may experience light rains. Fog and mist might prevail at some places during the early morning hours. Kolkata will remain slightly warm with a few clouds.
Lastly in South India, a Trough is extending from Maldives to coastal Karnataka. Another feeble Trough is persisting over Southwest Bay of Bengal. Due to these systems, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, southern parts of South Interior Karnataka, and coastal Rayalaseema will see light to moderate rains and thundershowers. While other parts of southern states are likely to remain dry and warm. Chennai and Bengaluru might see light to moderate rains.
