Updated at 09:50 PM: It seems like weather gods have decided to continue playing hide and seek. Rainfall intensity over Bengaluru continues to remain intense and the ones who are waiting for the exciting Warner Kohli clash may have to wait for a little while now.

The next half n hour to 45 minutes are expected to remain rainy.  However, thereafter, rainfall is expected to reduce and a five over match is possible giving Kohli and his boys a ray of hope into the game.

Published on April 25, 2017: The Indian Premier League has been the cause of pulling late nighters for many cricket fans across the country as well as across the globe. Fours and sixes have become a common affair in the most awaited cricket event of the year.

There have been surprises in all forms and us fans could not complain at all. While the Mumbai Indians and the Kolkata Knight Riders have been in full form winning match after match, it is the star team of Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Gujarat Lions that have been seeing their lowest time.

In fact, the Royal Challengers Bangalore are in such a bad place that it is important for them to start winning games now if they really want to be in the race at all.

Today, both the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Sunrisers Hyderabad will play the eight game. While the Sunrisers are still at the third spot with four wins in hand and three losses, the Challengers are right at the bottom with five losses and a mere two wins.

The game is scheduled at 8:00 pm, and will be played at the home ground of RCB, The Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. As far as weather conditions are concerned, the temperatures are expected to be between 27 and 29 degrees. Conditions will be warm and breezy with partly cloudy conditions. The sad part is that rain may delay the match by some time in the beginning itself as rain bearing clouds are hovering over Bengaluru.
