Hyderabad rain

Hyderabad, the city of nawabs sees pleasant weather throughout. Monsoon in this city arrives first and retreats last. Officially the Monsoon season ends by September 30. But this year, we expect the Monsoon to withdraw by October 15.

On Tuesday, the city of Hyderabad witnessed the third-highest rainfall of 75 mm in the month of September. On September 27, 1908, the highest ever rainfall was 153 mm and the second-highest rainfall is 90.2 mm which was recorded on September 6, 2017.

The heavy rain of 75 mm in Hyderabad caused two casualties. This is one of the exceptional heavy downpours as rains usually start reducing in the month of September.

According to the data available with us, the monthly average rainfall of Hyderabad in the month of September is 132.9 mm. But as of now, the city has already crossed the average by recording 222 mm of rain.

Now again we expect some good spells of rain to continue over Hyderabad, including the state of Telangana. These good spells of rain would continue until September 28.

Post that, the intensity of the rain would start reducing and the city would witness occasional light rainfall.
