At present, different weather systems are lying in the vicinity of Rajasthan due to which the state would get to see more rainy days. Thus, heavy rains are likely in Kota, Chittorgarh, and Udaipur while moderate rains will lash the city of Jaipur for another two days.
As predicted by Skymet Weather, the eastern and southeastern parts of Rajasthan have already received good rains during the last 24 hours. Bikaner observed moderate rains, while Kota witnessed moderate showers with a few heavy spells. In the other parts of the state, such as Churu and Sri Ganganagar, rains have remained only light.
Talking about the rainfall data, Bikaner has recorded 22 mm rain, followed by Udaipur 20 mm and Jodhpur 6 mm in a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday.
According to the Weathermen at Skymet, the Low Pressure has now dissipated but a Cyclonic Circulation has taken a form over West Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan. One more Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Northeast Arabian Sea off Gujarat Coast. This weather system is affecting Rajasthan in the form of humid winds.
In the wake of these weather systems, moderate to heavy rains would be seen over East and Southeast Rajasthan for another two days. Heavy rains are likely in Kota, Chittorgarh, and Udaipur while moderate rains will lash the city of Jaipur. Meanwhile, light rains would continue in the western parts of the state.
On the contrary, the northern districts would observe almost dry weather conditions with isolated light rains.
After August 28, the rainfall activities would decrease over entire Rajasthan, but South Rajasthan such as Bali, Barmer, Dungarpur, Rajsamand, and Bhilwara would continue to get scattered light to moderate showers for some more time.
