The hills of North India have been observing continuous weather activity for the past few days with very short breaks in between almost lasting for the past about ten days now.
The remnants of the prevailing Western Disturbance are expected to result in good rain and snowfall today as well as tomorrow.
The month of March is expected to have a snowy beginning as a fresh Western Disturbance is approaching the hills of North India around March 2. The system will affect the entire hills of North India including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
Good rainfall activity along with some snow is expected on March 2. On March 3, the system may give some activity over Himachal Pradesh. Uttarakhand will be the least affected and clearance in weather is likely around March 4.
Another Western Disturbance is expected to affect the Western Himalayas around March 6, which will be comparatively stronger and will stay for a longer period of time.
