Bengaluru shivers with maximums at 19.8 degrees and moderate rain, patchy showers likely

Bengaluru recorded moderate rain of 19 mm during the last 24 hours. With overcast skies and intermittent rain, the maximum temperature of Bengaluru remained 7 degrees below normal at 19.8 degree Celsius.

Minimum temperature was 16.8 degrees Celsius, which is below normal by 2 degrees. As the difference between maximum and minimum was very less, therefore winter chill was felt throughout the day.

The depression over north coast of Tamil Nadu has weekend into a well-marked low and will subsequently weaken into a low-pressure area. Its impact will be the felt over Andhra Pradesh and parts of Telangana.

Rain activities over Bengaluru and adjoining parts of South interior Karnataka will be less. Light patchy rain may continue over Bengaluru for next 2-3 days. We do not expect intense or heavy rain over the city for next few days.

Minimum temperatures will increase marginally, and maximum temperatures may also increase and may become near normal. Monthly average rainfall for Bengaluru in November is 48.9 mm. November 11 and 12 Bengaluru has already surpassed its monthly average. Total cumulative rainfall as of now is 81 mm.
