Chennai rains have been on the back foot for a long time now. So much so that the city has been witnessing dry weather conditions for the past two days. In fact, even before this, Chennai has only been witnessing rainfall activity since November 14.

However, Chennai rains are expected to make a comeback soon. In fact, during the coming days, a few good spells of rainfall are also expected to be observed.

Thus, light rains are expected to begin over the city of Chennai by tomorrow itself i.e. November 25. Thereafter, between November 26 and 28, rainfall activity will increase even further. During this period, moderate spells of rainfall are expected to occur over Chennai and its adjoining areas.

Not only this, isolated heavy spells of rainfall may also occur over the city. Thereafter, rainfall intensity is expected to reduce from Chennai, but light rains will continue over the state capital until at least the first three to four days of December.
