Thereafter, the rain intensity is expected to curtail down further but scattered showers will keep on blessing Northeast India. Occasional showers will continue over most parts of Northeast India as Southwest Monsoon has already made its onset over the states like Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and parts of Arunachal Pradesh.

Furthermore, Southwest Monsoon is on its advancement stage and will continue to progress further. Due to these torrential rains, flash flooding in the low lying areas were also reported however, with the weakening of the system, situation is likely to improve gradually.
