Delhi rain

For a long time now, Delhiites have been witnessing hot and harsh weather. So much so that the maximum temperatures have touched sky limits settling between 43°C to 45°C. Although mornings have been pleasant for the last two days but afternoons have been uncomfortable.

However, as per Skymet Weather, now the weather conditions are expected to take a turn with some rain activity over the national capital region. This spell of rain can be attributed to a cyclonic circulation over Punjab, Haryana and adjoining North Rajasthan, along with a trough extending from this system up to West Uttar Pradesh via Delhi.

Under the influence of these weather systems, thundery clouds had developed over the region today morning. In fact, some light rains have been observed over few parts of Delhi and NCR region. But as the system was not very strong, thus only short spell of rain has occurred that too highly localized.

Now that the cloud cover is likely to increase, another spell of rain is expected during late evening and night hours. This weather activity is likely to increase during the weekend.

Rain is expected to commence over Delhi by Saturday afternoon or evening, and by Sunday light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected at most places of the region. Thereafter, the weather will clear up and coming week is foreseen to start with clear sky conditions for Delhi.
