However, rain gods have decided to give Delhiites some relief from the prevailing weather conditions. At present, overcast conditions have developed and parts of national capital and its NCR region have begun to receive rains and the many other areas may also witness rains anytime now.

These weather conditions are attributed to the prevailing easterly winds over the region. High humidity and increased temperatures along with these winds resulted in convective cloud development over the region.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, Delhi and the NCR region is expected to witness patchy rains today and tomorrow. Thereafter, the rainfall activity is expected to witness an increase as the axis of the Monsoon trough which is running south of Delhi will move near the city.

Thus between, July 30 and August 2, the city and its adjoining areas will continue to witness on and off rainfall activity as the axis of Monsoon trough will remain in proximity of Delhi. Pleasant weather conditions will replace the ongoing humid weather giving residents some relief.
