Delhi rains to begin soon as Monsoon revives

Delhi weather has remained mostly dry for the past few days with rains making appearances over some parts only. However, as far as the weather conditions over the entire national capital are concerned, hot and humid weather conditions continue to remain dominant over the city.

The last 24 hours saw some light rains over eastern parts of the city, but other parts remained dry and hot.

The good news is that Delhi rains which have been shying away from the capital city will once again make an appearance resulting in comfortable weather conditions over the city.

The reason for these upcoming rains will be attributed to the presence of easterly winds over the region. Along with this, the axis of Monsoon trough is also running in proximity of Delhi which will result in some rainfall activity.

Thus, during the next two to three days, parts of Delhi may see light to moderate rains which will result in slightly comfortable weather conditions. Moreover, the maximum temperatures will settle in the mid 30s which will also bring some relief to the residents which have been reeling under uncomfortable weather conditions.

Thus, until around July 15 or 16, intermittent rains will continue over the national capital with some good rainfall activity in between.
