Delhi has started to see signs of winter with the national capital recording minimums below 10 degrees for the past 4 days. Today, the city recorded 8.9 degrees as the minimum, which is three degrees below the normal levels. As per the pentad normal, it is about 2 degrees below it.
No significant weather is expected over the mountains anytime soon, due to which minimums will continue to be below normal levels. Some change in temepartures may be seen by the end of the month, but this will be on account of the change in wind pattern.
Due to colder winds from the snow clad mountains, day temperatures may also see a drop and settle at about 26 degrees Celsius. Pleasantly warm afternoons will be seen with slight chill in the morning hours.
