As per Skymet Weather, the rainfall activity has reduced significantly over eastern parts of the country. States such as Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal are mainly witnessing dry weather conditions from the past few days.

A cyclonic circulation has formed over Chhattisgarh and a trough is also extending from this system towards Central Arabian Sea. In wake of these combined weather systems, rain and thundershowers are likely to occur over South Chhattisgarh, South and North Odisha and the extreme south of Gangetic West Bengal.
On the other hand remaining states of East India will witness dry and hot weather as northwesterly winds are blowing over the states. As per weathermen at Skymet weather, it is anticipated that the morning temperatures may drop marginally. Haziness is also expected to prevail over Odisha Coast and coastal divisions of Gangetic West Bengal.

Places such as Diamond Harbour and Canning in Gangetic West Bengal are likely to witness rainfall activity. The city of joy may also record a few spells of thundershower activities. In Odisha, Balasore, Bhadrak, Paradip, Rayagada, and Angul may witness rain.
In the same span of time, Jagdalpur, Bastar, Raipur in Chhattisgarh may also record rain. The rainfall activity will not last for long and will occur on October 24 and 25 and thereafter dry weather will once again take over.
