Dry weather ahead for plains of North India

Dry weather ahead for plains of North IndiaThe North Indian region has enjoyed a rainy August with quite a few good showers. In fact, the national capital, which also lies in the North Indian plains witnessed good Monsoon rains during the month.

However, the first few days of the month of September are expected to bring no good news for the residents. In fact, the weather gods have already begun to give a preview to what’s in store for them in the coming days.

The reason for these weather conditions can be attributed to the absence of any significant weather system over the region. Also, the axis of the Monsoon trough which was so far giving occasional good rains for the region has also moved in the northward direction.

In fact, the axis of the Monsoon trough, due to its movement will give good rains over the eastern and the north-eastern parts of the country. Thus, the North Indian plains are all set to witness days of dry spell.

Now, as the weather conditions are expected to become dry, temperatures are likely to witness a rise as well. Thus, almost the entire North Indian region is expected to witness warm weather conditions. A good rainy spell will only occur over the region if any weather system affects the North Indian plains, until then, residents will have to observe dry weather.
