Dry weather to maintain its grip over Maharashtra

The entire state of Maharashtra has been witnessing the seasonal weather pattern, i.e., dry and warm weather. In the wake of such conditions, day temperatures have scaled up and settled above normal by one to two degrees over most locations. Somewhat similar is the case with night temperatures.

Sub-division wise, North Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha region have been affected by dry and warm winds, with localized heat. Thus, maximum temperatures will continue its rising trend over the mentioned regions, but this increase would be marginal.

Similarly, warm winds from the east would prevail over South Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada region. However, not much fluctuation is expected in temperature profile over the aforesaid regions.

Lastly, in the Konkan region, day and night temperatures will continue to settle above the normal range over most parts.

As per Skymet Weather, dry weather is anticipated to remain prevalent over all the sub-divisions of the Maharashtra, with both the maximum and minimum temperatures upholding the escalating trend.

In a nutshell, clear weather and bright sunshine is expected to remain in Maharashtra.

Farmers are suggested to take appropriate measures to avoid pest infestation and irrigate the fields of summer crops as per required. Furthermore, the completion of harvesting crops like Jowar, Bengal Gram and Wheat is also advised. Moreover, they must store the crop produce to a safer place to avoid losses.
