Favourable conditions for Monsoon withdrawal from West Assam and Sikkim, ideal time to visit

October 13, 2019 1:45 PM |

rain in Northeast India

The rainfall activities have significantly reduced over parts of Northeast India during the last 24 hours. And the higher reaches of Sikkim have experienced scattered light showers only, along with partly cloudy to cloudy sky conditions. Likewise, rains have remained on the lower side only in the other parts of Northeast India.

As per our meteorologists, the conditions are favourable for the withdrawal of Monsoon from some more parts of Northeast India such as West Assam and Sikkim after the next two to three days.

Meanwhile, due to the mixing of different air masses, scattered light to moderate rains are likely in Tripura and Manipur, while light showers are likely over extreme eastern parts of Northeast India. All these activities would continue for the next two to three days.

As no significant rainfall activity is likely for the next few days, the day temperatures would increase slightly while night temperatures are likely to reduce marginally during the coming days.

At present, the time is ideal for tourists to experience the beauty of Northeast India, as the weather is pleasant and perfect for exploring and enjoying the various activities that North East India has to offer.
