The intensity and frequency of Western Disturbances will also reduce to quite an extent. However, on odd Disturbances may make an appearance Western Himalayas but due to them being feeble in nature, the plains of North India will not be affected.

Hot and dry winds from west and northwest will continue over entire Northwest India. These winds will be blowing from central parts of Pakistan and Rajasthan where temperatures are already settling on the higher side.

Meanwhile, heat wave conditions may be seen in a few areas of Delhi NCR, Haryana, North Rajasthan during the end of May and around June 1. Thus, Northwest India should brace up for hot and dry weather conditions for at least a week or so.
