It is recommended to drink six to eight glasses of water a day when the temperatures start rising leading to warm days. But, we often forget to drink enough water which leads to dehydration. There are a number of side effects that can take a toll on our health due to lack of water. It can cause fatigue, a drop in your blood pressure and can also dry your skin or lips. It is also known for causing muscle cramps and headaches. Also, staying dehydrated for a long time can lead to bigger health problems.

Well, there is nothing to worry about. Here are some fruits that are rich in water content and keeps your body hydrated even without drinking water.

1. Watermelon


The intake of watermelon is very important as it contains very few calories and high water content. Also, high nutrient content is found in watermelon. It is a great nourishing and hydrating fruit as it contains a lot of antioxidants.

2. Peaches


Minerals like potassium, Vitamin A, B as well as C are found in peaches. It is a fiber-rich fruit with low calories. And, again it is a great hydrating fruit for your diet during the warm days or rising temperatures as it contains high water content.

3. Oranges


Oranges are known to be rich in vitamin C and potassium which are essential for our health as well as our immune system. Along with the health benefits, oranges also contain high water content which can help nourish and hydrate your body and provide it adequate nutrients.

4. Pineapple


Pineapple contains compound bromelain which is an important compound for our body. This fruit also contains high water content as well as nutrients that keep our body hydrated and healthy during summers. And, one should not avoid having fruit which contains important compounds for our body.

5. Strawberries


This fruit is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals which are essential for our body. Strawberries contain over 90% water which makes it a great hydrating fruit to keep your body's water intake on point.

It is very important to watch your water intake. And, ensure that we get enough liquids in our diet to keep our body hydrated.
