Rains once again picked over most parts of Telangana in the last 24 hours. In fact, the youngest state of the country has been blessed to have seen light to moderate showers almost throughout the entire month of October.

The post-Monsoon rains have proved to be best for the capital city, Hyderabad that has seldom seen a dry day since the beginning of the month. On the contrary, rains over the other districts of the state have remained comparatively more occasional.

In the wake of this, moderate showers with isolated heavy spells are expected to continue over many parts of Telangana for at least next 48 hours. Hyderabad too is likely to witness light with isolated moderate rains. These rains may even hinder the deciding finale of T20 series to be played in Hyderabad between India and Australia.

Thereafter, there will be a significant decrease in the rain intensity due to the intensification of the cyclonic circulation into a Low-Pressure Area.

The humid winds prevailing over Telangana that is increasing moisture from the Bay of Bengal will also cut off leading to a decrease in the rain activity. Despite the fact, that most parts of the state including Hyderabad will witness a fall in rains, the southern districts of Telangana adjacent to Rayalseema may continue to witness scattered light rains thereafter as well.
