The Southwest Monsoon remained active to vigorous over Eastern Rajasthan. Stations like Churu, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Sikar, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Udaipur, and Chittorgarh recorded 56 mm, 48 mm, 45 mm, 25 mm, 14 mm, 13 mm, 5 mm and 30 mm of rains, respectively.
Isolated light rains were observed over the central part of the state. The Low-Pressure Area has already moved away from the state; however, the upper-level trough persists. The East-West Trough is moving North of Rajasthan from Central Pakistan to Northwest Bay of Bengal across Punjab and Haryana.
The rainfall activity will now reduce marginally over southeastern parts of the states. While the marginal increase is possible over the central and adjoining east. Mainly light to moderate rains at many places like Alwar, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Chittorgarh and Kota with few moderate to heavy spells over Bhilwara, Bundi, Rajsamand, and Pali in the next 24 hours can be a sight.
Light rain is possible at few places of Sri Ganganagar, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Phalodi, Jhalawar, and Dungarpur in the next 24 hours. The possibility of dust storm and thunderstorm activities over Jaisalmer, Barmer, and Phalodi in the next 24 hours cannot be ruled out. The weather activities are expected to reduce further over most parts of Rajasthan. However, few moderate spells are expected over the northeastern parts of Rajasthan, mainly over Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, and Dholpur between July 7 to July 8. Temperatures would then remain above forty degrees mainly over Jaisalmer, Phalodi, and Bikaner.
