In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Wednesday, Patna witnessed light rain to the tune of, 5.5 mm, Bhagalpur 2 mm, Supaul 0.4 mm and Purnea and Gaya 0.2 mm of rain. In the same span of time, Jharkhand failed to record any rainfall activity.

As per Skymet Weather, the low Pressure which was persisting over Bihar and adjoining parts has weakened and now lies as a cyclonic circulation over the same area.

Therefore we expect that the few eastern districts of Bihar and Jharkhand will receive light to moderate rain and thundershower activities during the next 24 to 48 hours. However, the intensity of rain will not be much over the states.
