However, despite the fact that rains have remained far and few over the state, the temperature profile did not see many changes. The maximums across most districts of Kerala are seen settling close to the normal levels.

In the last 24 hours also, dry weather prevailed yet thunderclouds development was witnessed by most parts.

Yesterday, the maximum temperatures recorded by Alappuzha, Kannur,  Kochi was 34.2°C each, Kottayam recorded 35°C, Kozhikode 34.7°C, Punalur 35.4°C and Thiruvananthapuram recorded 32.2°C. Meanwhile, morning remained comfortable and breezy with mainly clear sky.

As per Skymet Weather, a trough is seen extending from Southeast Arabian Sea to north of Kerala along the coast.

Due to this, thundercloud development is likely over north and central parts of the state along the coast. This activity is likely to occur during the afternoon and evening hours. In fact, few places may record thundershower activities as well. Moreover, easterly warm and moist winds are also seen prevailing over most parts of the state.

Day would continue to remain warm and humid with light breeze. These activities are likely to decrease after 24 hours.
