Hyderabad to see light rains ahead

During the last 24 hours, the state of Telangana did not record much rain activity. In fact, the city of Nizams, Hyderabad also remained rain free. However, the weather continues to remain pleasing with day maximums settling around 32-33 degrees and minimum temperatures near 22-24 degrees.

The reason for these weather conditions can be credited to the north-south trough which is extending from North Chhattisgarh up to South Tamil Nadu across Telangana and Rayalaseema. In addition to this, a cyclonic circulation is seen over South Andhra Pradesh Coast.

Weathermen at Skymet Weather expect light rains to continue over the city of Pearls, Hyderabad with partly cloudy to cloudy sky. Morning and nights will remain comfortable, while days are likely to be a bit warm.

The cyclonic circulation over Konkan and Goa and adjoining parts of Madhya Maharashtra is quite strong, due to which, it is most expected to pull all the moisture towards the state of Maharashtra. Thus, with this rain intensity will significantly reduce over Telangana including Hyderabad.

Until date, Hyderabad has recorded a mere 2.8 mm of rainfall against its monthly average rainfall of 132.9 mm. On the similar note, the state of Telangana is rain deficit by 10 percent, whereas the capital city is rain surplus by 9 percent.
