During the last 24 hours, intermittent spells of rain and thundershowers have occurred over the Pink City. A total of 17 mm of rainfall has been recorded in the city till yesterday. At present, the sky conditions are overcast over the city with multiple-layered clouds.
All these weather conditions have occurred due to the presence of a Low-Pressure Area over Rajasthan and adjoining parts of Haryana. The above system has now moved northeastwards in the presence of a Western Disturbance.
Hence, the weather conditions will now start improving. However, sky conditions are still expected to remain overcast with multi-layered clouds.
Today, the day temperatures will increase slightly and are expected to be recorded close to 28 to 29 degree Celsius during the day. However, the night temperatures will remain between 22 to 23 degrees.
In fact, due to the presence of high availability of moisture, localized short spells of light rains are likely to occur at some places. These weather conditions will later subside.
After 24 hours, the dry weather is likely to continue over the state along with a continuous rise in temperatures.
Not just Jaipur, but other parts of Rajasthan are also gearing up for some rains in the next 24 hours under the influence of the same system. Today, the eastern parts of Rajasthan like that of Bharatpur, Jhalawar, Bundi, Tonk, Karauli etc will experience light to moderate rains and thundershowers at some places while western parts of Rajasthan are likely to remain mostly dry and warm.
