The low pressure area in Andaman Sea has moved further in last 24 hours and is now seen over southeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal. With system continuously travelling in open waters, it has also become more marked. In fact, conditions will remain favourable for its further intensification.
According to Skymet Weather, the low pressure will gradually move in west-southwest direction towards Sri Lanka and adjoining Tamil Nadu coast. It is most likely to induce a well-marked low pressure area around November 26. However, we will have to wait and watch whether the system will intensify further or not.
