Hyderabad witnesses the lowest minimum in almost a decade

The state of Telangana has been witnessing a dry spell since past many days, paving way for cool winds to blow over the region. Day temperatures continued to settle in lower 30s to mid-30s, whereas minimums on the other hand have marked a significant drop in the past 48 hours.

This fall in night temperatures could be attributed to the northerly-northwesterly winds that are reaching up to the region. These winds are dry and cold in nature, due to which it led to decrease in minimum temperatures by two to three notches over many places of Telangana in the past 24 hours.

In fact, a rare variance in minimum temperatures has been reported between the national capital and Telangana, due to wind pattern.

For instance, the city of Adilabad has registered a major fall of eight degrees during the last 48 hours. On October 23, Adilabad reported a minimum of 21.1 degrees Celsius which has curtailed down to 13 degrees Celsius today.
