Telangana Rain

Good rains with thundershower activities have been going on in Telangana for the last two to three days. In the span of 24 hours from 08:30 am on Sunday, moderate showers were recorded in many parts of the state. The city of Pearls that is Hyderabad, recorded 31 mm of rainfall. While Nizamabad recorded 14 mm and Hanamkonda recorded 11 mm of rains.

A Low-Pressure Area has already developed over Odisha Coast which will move westward. This is the reason that we expect light to moderate rainfall activities with one or two heavy spells. This rainfall activity will be over Northern parts of Telangana which would continue for the next 24 hours.

During the next 24 to 48 hours, as the system would persist, moderate rains are likely over places like Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Mehboob Nagar, Medak and Hyderabad.

Thereafter, the rainfall activities would decrease. And, the Low Pressure Area which is developed over Odisha Coast will move away towards Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh.

As predicted by meteorologists at Skymet, the capital city Hyderabad would only settle with light rain on Tuesday.

In wake of these rains, Weather would remain extremely pleasant over the entire state during this week. Along with this, this rainfall activity would continue over many parts of Telangana.

August has performed well for Telangana including Hyderabad. Although the rainfall activities have not been heavy to very heavy but light to moderate rains have been persisting.

Thus, we can say that the first week of September would be pleasant weatherwise for the entire state.
