"Moist winds from Bay of Bay Bengal are blowing over the region, hence humidity levels have risen across the region. With the increase in temperatures during the day, there are chances of thundery activity built up which may induce one or two good spells of rain or thundershower over the city and adjoining areas," said Mahesh Palawat, VP-Meteorology, Skymet Weather.

The rain intensity is likely to increase once again from August 1, which will continue for good three to four days. Since then, weather across the state will continue to be humid and warm. But afternoons and night will remain pleasant due to the thundershower and rainfall activities.
