Most parts of the country remains fog freeIt seems like foggy mornings have become a distant memory for the residents of North India. While the hills are free from foggy weather as they are at present witnessing rainy weather conditions, the plains are also observing a fog free morning today.

Not only this, Central India has also been observing a morning free of dense fog barring a few isolated areas. For instance, Indore has recorded a visibility of a mere 50 metres. However, the visibility remains good at other parts due to rainfall in several areas including Raipur.

As far as the national capital is concerned, almost the entire city witnessed a clear morning today as well. Shallow to moderate fog was reported at the Palam airport with the visibility dropping to a good 500 metres. Otherwise, most of the areas remained fog free in Delhi and the NCR region.

Moving towards East India, both Gaya and Patna reported good visibility with foggy conditions being at bay.

On the other hand, parts of Northeast India continues to witness shallow fog during the early morning hours. The visibility in Imphal was reported to be at 600 metres, which was still better as compared to yesterday.

Due to foggy conditions at a very few areas in the country, only 35 trains have been delayed across the country. However, Delhi has reported at 10 flight delays including 7 arrivals and 3 departures.
