The low pressure system over Telangana, adjoining Rayalseema and coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh is likely to re curve after 24 hours and move in the north east direction. The associated cyclonic circulation extending up to the midtropospheric levels persists. The western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation will move eastwards.
North India will remain dry, keeping day temperatures near normal. However, the northern plains have been witnessing marginally high minimums in the range of 17 to 19 degrees. With maximum and minimum temperatures at 32 and 18 degrees Celsius respectively, the weather in Delhi remains comfortable.
Winds blowing from Bay of Bengal will raise the humidity levels in north east India, increasing the intensity of rainfall after 24 hours. In the eastern regions, thick clouds over Odisha and West Bengal will bring good amount of rainfall during the next 24 to 36 hours. Temperatures in east India is expected to drop by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius and be in the range of 27 to 30 degrees.
The mercury level in central India is expected to come down because of rain and clouds over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and east Madhya Pradesh. A cool and comfortable weather is the forecast for peninsular India. Maximum temperature in Andhra Pradesh is dipping due to rain but, Tamil Nadu will be slightly warmer between 31 and 35 degrees Celsius.
