On and off Monsoon rains to continue in Bengaluru

June 11, 2017 3:32 PM |

Bengaluru Rain

Bengaluru rains have become slightly sluggish ever since Southwest Monsoon 2017 has made an onset over the city. While the capital city of Karnataka has been receiving light rains, these showers have not been as constant as they were a few days ago.

The last 24 hours were no different and the city of Bengaluru recorded traces of rain. Now, pleasant weather conditions are prevailing over Bengaluru. On and off light rains are going on over the garden city.

However, it seems like the rain gods are all set to bestow some kindness over the capital city of Karnataka. Monsoon rains will now pick up pace over Bengaluru during the next 24 hours. In fact, few moderate showers are possible and temperatures may drop even further resulting in pleasant weather conditions.

These rains will be attributed to the active Monsoon surge over Coastal Karnataka. We expect rains to pick up pace over Coastal Karnataka as well as Interior Karnataka also along with the city of Bengaluru.

Weather will become very pleasant and temperatures will witness a steep drop over the garden city of India as the Monsoon surge is likely to last over the region for at least 48 hours or so.

However, as the Monsoon surge weakens, rain intensity will once again reduce after two days.
