Delhi and the NCR region are expected to see some rains in the coming days. Moreover, the city has not seen any decent rains for over three months now. However, that spell is likely to break.
The last system did result in light rainfall in some parts of Delhi NCR but it was almost negligible. Now, due to the combination of a fresh Western disturbance over the hills of North India along with a cyclonic circulation over the plains of North India is expected to result in some rains over Delhi and the NCR region.
Tonight itself, we can expect very light rains over Delhi and the NCR region. Moreover, the early morning hours of tomorrow may also see some rain.
Rains may be on the reduced side on January 25 and 26. However, one cannot rule out the possibility of light rains on January 25 and 26. Some pockets may have mild hailstorm activity. Little improvement may be seen on January 26 second half and January 27, however, rains will remain light.
Moreover, since another system is in quick succession, rains may be once again seen around January 28 and 29, wherein hailstorm is also expected to be seen. Thus, on and off rains may be seen starting tonight for at least a week.
