During this Southwest Monsoon, Bihar and Jharkhand recorded on and off showers and that typical Monsoon rains remained away from both the states. The reason could be credited to the absence of any significant weather system such as a low pressure area or cyclonic circulation over the regions.

As per Skymet Weather, the axis of Monsoon trough is running across Jharkhand, hence we can expect the rain activity to intensify over the state along with Bihar. Weathermen foresee light to moderate rains with a few heavy spells over many parts of both the states for the next 2 to 3 days. One or two places may also receive very heavy spells.
