Pleasant weather ahead for Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan

February 9, 2017 3:41 PM |

Weather in RajasthanWith the onset of spring, pleasant weather conditions are also making way to Northwest India.

According to Skymet Weather, the affecting Western Disturbance has now cleared away the Jammu and Kashmir region. With this, dry northwesterly winds will once again start blowing across Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh.

This will lead to clear sky conditions and bright sunshine, which will in turn lead to increase in day maximums. However, there will be slight nip during the morning and night hours as no major change is expected in the minimum temperatures.

In fact, the maximum temperatures have already started rising across the plains. Until last week, mercury has been settling well below normal.

Further, no major change is expected in the temperature profile in the coming days. Weathermen predict that no weather system is approaching Western Himalayas during the next 4-5 days.

Thereafter, a fresh Western Disturbance will affect Jammu and Kashmir, which will again change the wind pattern over the region. But it will not have much affect over the plains.

According to Skymet Weather, as we progress further, the frequency of Western Disturbance will now start reducing gradually. Moreover, these systems will be feeble in nature and will be moving at a very fast pace.

Due to this, the induced cyclonic circulation that usually affects the northwestern plains, will not be as strong as they have been till now.
