Now, till the next 48 hours, the weather conditions would continue to be pleasant and perfect for those who want to visit the shrine. However, a rainy week is ahead for Vaishno Devi.

As per the weathermen at Skymet Weather, rain and thundershower activities to reappear around March 21-22. These activities will occur due to a fresh Western Disturbance, which is at presently over North Afghanistan and adjoining Pakistan.

The weather conditions will once again clear up around March 23, but sky will remain partly cloudy and temperatures will not rise immediately. Weather is expected to remain pleasant.

Katra will experience maximum temperatures between 22°C -25°C, while minimum temperatures would settle between 13°C -15°C. Meanwhile, Bhavan will witness minimum temperatures in single digits and maximum temperatures below 20°C.

Therefore, those who are planning a trip to the shrine between March 21 and March 23, should carry raincoats and woolens as rains might be a hindrance during the journey to the temple.
