Rains have been lashing the hills of North India as a Western Disturbance is over the Western Himalayas. These weather activities will be at their peak today over the entire hills including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
Some rains will be seen over Uttarakhand tomorrow as well. Thereafter, rains will take a small break with another system approaching around April 24, but that will remain a weaker one as compared to this one.
This system along with an induced Circulation over the plains will result in some Pre Monsoon rain and thunderstorm activity over Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, North Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada today. Parts of North India will see some gusty winds as well.
Rain belt will further shift eastward tomorrow, wherein Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and parts of Central India will continue to witness Pre Monsoon activities. For the state of Gujarat, this spell will be an unseasonal one.
