Pre Monsoon rains to vacate plains of North India, hills may have a feeble Western Disturbance soon

The northern parts of the country both the hills and the plains have been seeing intense Pre Monsoon rain and thunderstorm activities for the past couple of days. Due to these rains, there has been a big relief in terms of temperatures over almost the entire region. Maximums in most parts are below the 40 degree mark.

Today also, some rains more are expected over the hills of North India as well as some Pre Monsoon activity may be seen over the plains due to the remnants of the system.

Clearing is expected over the plains tomorrow onward including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh. Marginal Pre Monsoon activity may be seen around May 28 and 29.

However, hills may see some clearance. However, hills can expect a feeble Western Disturbance around May 28, which may result in some activity around that time. The system will be a feeble one thus the Pre Monsoon activity may not be as much.

With this, plains of North India may see an increase in maximum temperatures in the next couple of days. Gradually, Delhi may see maximums in excess of 40 degrees, around May 27 and 28.
