Odisha, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh received widespread good showers in the last 24 hours. South India is observing pre-monsoon activity due to persistent discontinuity of winds. Rain here has been triggered by high temperatures and especially differential temperature profile of the sea and land surfaces.

According to latest weather update by Skymet Meteorology Division in India, here’s a list of places which received significant amount of rain in the last 24 hours.
