In a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Saturday, Nungambakkam observatory recorded 19 mm of rains while Minambakkam observatory witnessed rains to the tune of 8 mm.

These rainfall activities are attributed to the presence of an off-shore trough along the East Coast. Now, rains over the city of Chennai is expected to reduce over the city. However, light rainfall activity will continue over the city.

Talking about temperatures, they will continue to settle in the mid-30s while minimums will range in the mid-20s.
