Indore Rains

The state of Madhya Pradesh has been observing light to moderate rainfall, specifically the south and South Eastern parts are the ones that are observing these rainfall activities.

Now, on and off rain activities will continue over the southern part of the state. Along with this, southwestern parts of Madhya Pradesh me also see some rains.

Cities of Dhar, Indore, Khargone, Betul, Hoshangabad, Khandwa, Mandla may see rain and thundershowers for the next 24 to 48 hours. Thereafter, there will be seen some light rainfall activities over Dhar, Indore and adjoining areas until October 29.

After that, weather in the state of Madhya Pradesh will also become dry. While October is one of the driest months, due to the systems which have originated in the Arabian Sea as well as the Bay of Bengal, wind confluence zone is taking place over Madhya Pradesh. South easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal are merging with North westerly winds coming from the Northwestern plains.

Thus, this merger of winds will result in the development of confluence Zone, which will cause more rains over the state.
