These showers are expected to continue till October 10 and thereafter a significant decrease in rain is likely over both these states. Initially, rains will be due to the merging of the two opposite air masses. Winds from northwest direction will be dry and winds from east and northeast will be humid. By October 7, a cyclonic circulation is likely to develop over Odisha coast which will move towards Chhattisgarh and will give good rains over both these states between October 8 and 10.

However, northern parts of Madhya Pradesh which includes Gwalior, Shivpuri, Ujjain, Datia, and Tikamgarh will remain dry and hot. Temperatures may reduce by a few degrees with the upcoming rainfall activity.
