Northeastern parts of the country are expected to see another spell of rains very soon. These weather activities will be observed over the seven sister states between February 24 and 26.
Moreover, these rainfall activities will be seen over the entire Northeast India including the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Rainfall activity will begin tomorrow and be on its peak on February 25, thereafter reducing on February 26. Clearance is expected around February 27.
The Western Disturbance, which has given rain and snow over the hills, is moving eastwards. Along with this, the anti Cyclone is shifting over North Bay of Bengal, which is pumping a lot of moisture over East as well as Northeast India. The combined effect of these systems will cause rains over Northeast India.
