Hills of North India 1

The Northern Hills experienced pleasant weather conditions during the past weekend. Many tourists went to the Queen of hills Mussoorie, City of lakes Nainital, and God’s own place Kashmir to spend their weekend to experience the splendid weather.

As per Skymet, a fresh Western Disturbance has approached Western Himalayas, which has already given light to moderate rain and thundershower over Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Now we expect the intensity of rain to increase over these states. Good rains will continue till June 7. Due to heavy rains today and tomorrow, water logging and landslides are expected at a few places over the northern hills.

As pre-Monsoon thundershower along with hailstorm activities are also expected over the hills, certain precautions should be undertaken to avoid any miss happening. The tourists who were planning a holiday up in the hills, they should postpone it for now.

The rain intensity will decrease after June 8. The coming weekend is expected to have pleasant weather again. So plan you holiday for the weekend to experience the real charm of the hills.
