The plains as well as the hills of North India are expected to see rainy days ahead, all thanks to multiple weather systems persisting over the region.
Currently, a Cyclonic Circulation is over North Pakistan and adjoining areas, a well marked cyclonic circulation is also over North Rajasthan and Haryana region. The trough line joining these two systems is running further across Uttar Pradesh region.
The circulation over North Rajasthan region is going to persist for a couple of more days, becoming more organized. Thus, rainfall activity is particularly expected over Jaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Sikar, Dhaulpur etc.
Talking about Haryana, Hisar, Kaithal, Jhajjar are expected to see good rains. Parts of Punjab as well as Delhi NCR may also see some rainfall activity.
As far as the hills are concerned, the possibility of cloudbursts, localized flooding as well as rains cannot be ruled out. For Jammu and Kashmir, Poonch, Kishtewar, Ramban, Reasi, Doda, Rajori etc. will be more vulnerable.
Foothills of Himachal Pradesh including Solan, Una, Dalhousie, Dharamsala are expected to see good rains in the coming days. For Uttarakhand, many parts of the state will see good showers during the same time frame.
Other parts of North India may also see isolated rains activity, though not as heavy as in the aforementioned regions.
