Dry weather hascompletely taken over the entire state of Maharashtra. Since the very beginning of October, the state has been experiencing dry weather conditions and this trend can be seen continuing in the month of November too.
At present, both day and night temperatures are above normal over many parts of the state. Also, the difference between day and night temperatures I.e. diurnal variation is very high.
Further, a trough can be seen extending from Southwest Bay of Bengal to South Madhya Maharashtra which might bring scattered rains over South Madhya Maharashtra and South Konkan & Goa.
In the coming days, this trough will gradually extend up to North Coastal Maharashtra resulting into an increase in rainfall over Coastal Maharashtra as well as Konkan & Goa.
Moreover, on and off rainfall activities are possible to continue over Madhya Maharashtra as well as Konkan & Goa till November 5. Likewise, parts of Marathwada may also witness isolated to very light rains.
After a long time battle with dry weather conditions ,Mumbaikars will finally get a chance to enjoy short spells of showers around November 3 and 5.
Places like Pune, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Dahanu, Raigad, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Sangli, Satara and Kolhapur may also experience scattered rains for some time.
However, no change in the weather of Vidarbha is expected and it will continue to face dry weather conditions.
