However, since last one week day and night temperatures of Rajasthan have increased significantly. Day temperatures were above normal by 3 to 4°C, over most parts of the state.

However, due to the induced cyclonic circulation over the northern parts of Rajasthan, clouds started appearing over North and Central Rajasthan. In fact, scattered rain and thundershower activities were also witnessed by many districts of North and Central Rajasthan – Bikaner, Churu, Pilani, Jaipur and Alwar.

In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday, Churu recorded 1 mm of rains. Meanwhile, Pilani, Bikaner, Alwar and Jaipur recorded traces of rains. Hailstorm activity was observed in Sikar.

During last 48 hours, due to these weather activities, day and night temperatures have dropped by 5°C to 8°C.

Similarly, minimum temperatures have also witnessed a drop by 2°C to 4°C over the north and central districts. Hot and sunny weather conditions turned comfortable.

Meanwhile, as the weather remained dry over southern districts therefore, only marginal drop in day and night temperatures was seen over those areas.

Now, the weather has once again become clear over the entire state. During the next 2-3 days day temperatures are expected to rise and days will once again become very warm and sunny. However, night temperatures are likely to remain comfortable for another 2 days.
