Rainy days ahead for Bangalore, IND AUS test may be affectedThe city of Bangalore was witnessing dry weather conditions for the past few days during the fag end of the month of February. Not only this, the weather conditions remained warmer than usual. In fact, Bangalore after observing sky high temperatures had broken a few records in February. However, rainy days are in store for the garden city.

Since the beginning of March, the day temperatures have been settling close to the normal levels. While the pleasant city may not be pleasant anymore, the maximums are being recorded close to 33 degrees which is the normal maximum in Bangalore for the month of March.

At present a trough of low is off the Sri Lanka coast up to the South Tamil Nadu region. Not only this, another trough is also extending from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal up to North Bay of Bengal. Due to these systems, rains are likely over the city.

As per weathermen at Skymet, light rains are likely during the evening hours of today and tomorrow. On March 6 and 7, the rainfall intensity as well as spread will increase. Currently, Bangalore is hosting a five-day test match between India and Australia which has begun today itself. Thus, interruptions in the match is expected, particularly on the third and the fourth day.
