Rainy days ahead for Bengaluru until the end of April

Bangalore RainsThe month of April hasn’t been that bad for Bengaluru as far as the weather conditions are concerned. While the first few days may have seen some really hot weather conditions, on and off Pre-Monsoon showers have kept the pleasant spirit alive in Bengaluru.

In fact, cloudy weather conditions have been a significant weather feature over the garden city of India during the last few days. While it hasn’t been a rainy every day, a few spells here and there in the last week has occurred over the city.

In fact, last night was quite a rainy affair for Bengaluru which was a sad news for the fans and the IPL team of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Rain gods caused the entire match to be abandoned throwing the RCB virtually out of the tournament.

These weather conditions can be attributed to the persisting trough over South Interior Karnataka which is in proximity of Bengaluru. Due to this, the possibility of thunderstorm and thundershower activity during the late afternoon hours both today and tomorrow cannot be ruled out.

The good news is that the rainfall intensity is expected to increase all the more after 48 hours. In fact, rain activity over Bengaluru is expected to continue until the end of April. The month of April will end on a rainy note. In fact, rain threat does loom large over the match scheduled tomorrow between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Lions.
