There is a lot of variation in Rajasthan in terms of temperature profile between East and West Rajasthan. In fact, eastern parts of Rajasthan due to virtue of wind flow from the snow clad mountains of the Western Himalayas have more effect.
Cities of Sikar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Boondi, Kota, Pilani, Suratgarh, Sri Ganganagar have more effect in temperatures as compared to Barmer, Jodhpur, Phalodi. The western parts have an effect from the central Pakistan region, which takes a while.
Single digit temperatures have started to sweep the eastern parts including Sikar, Churu etc. In fact, Churu recorded the lowest minimum of the season at 6.4°C. In the coming days, no rise in temperatures is likely, in fact, a marginal fall may be seen in some parts.
